The Buckles & Brew Invitational Beer Fest is held on April 20 from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM and features the specialty brews of over 30 craft breweries AND delicious wines from the best wineries in the area(it's Santa Barbara, there has to be wine!). Also offering live music, participants can explore the newly redone Santa Barbara Carriage Museum where this tasty event is being held. Located at 129 Castillo Street and costing $45 for general admission or $65 for early admission, the souvenir glass that comes with the price of entry will be a great reminder of the good times you had! This is one of our favorite Santa Barbara holidays!
Memorial Day has always been our favorite holiday, even as it represents the somber memories of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, it forever remains a symbol of the beginning of summer. Memorial Day in Santa Barbara offers a variety of events and activities to keep you busy on this long weekend, with the I Madonnari Street Painting Festival being one of our all-time favorite events! Starting May 25th at 6:00 AM and ending on May 27th at 6:00 PM, the streets outside the Old Mission Santa Barbara come alive in an explosion of color and art as talented artists recreate classic paintings in pastels. Costing nothing to attend, watching the artists perform their magic is almost as fun as seeing the end results!
Fireworks never cease to amaze us and never more so than on the Fourth of July Fireworks Cruise offered by Double Dolphin Cruises! Never knowing where to look-up in the sky or at the reflection in the waters below-is just one part of the wonders you can expect from this dynamic cruise! The cruise begins at 8:00 and costs $110 for a two-hour tour of the harbor and serves light appetizers to complete a perfect night! Celebrating our nation's independence aboard one of their graceful boats is one of our favorite ways to enjoy the Santa Barbara holidays!
