Go with a Classic Meat, featuring pepperoni and an all-natural garlic fennel sausage, or pick the Vegan, made with a whole wheat crust, fresh spinach, garlic, red onion, and a Daiya vegan cheese, if you want to maintain some semblance of a healthy diet while on vacation!

If you were about to despair that you will never find a wood-fire pizza joint that also serves craft coffee, beer, and wine, we are about to make you very happy. Lucky Penny offers all of the above and a full take-out menu, so you can choose to enjoy your meal on their charming patio or in sweats on the back deck of your Paradise Retreats vacation escape! Offering innovative selections, including their Milpas pizza that comes with fingerling potatoes, Mexican chorizo, sunny side-up egg, spicy tomatillo marinara, cotija, & cilantro, this spot is one of our favorites when we can't choose between Mexican and pizza-we just get both!

Nicky D's Wood-Fired Pizza, 2840 De La Vina Street B

This is the neighborhood pizza joint you've been searching for your entire life. Featuring simple wood chairs and tables, a neon sign informing guests that they are open, and a clientele that is both friendly and well fed, Nicky D's is where the locals eat. And if you don't try their garlic clam pizza at least once during your stay, you'll end up regretting it for the rest of your life!
