My wife and I and our teenage daughters stayed here for two weeks this August. The house is simple and adorable and is a 4-minute walk to the beach. The availability of beach chairs and a beach umbrella was a big plus. The property manager's communication was excellent. Grilling in the back of the house, overlooking the creek, was a particular pleasure. Do get a tide chart app so you can figure out when you can take walks on the beach. We would love to come back.

Great location! Our family loved the Seashell Cottage for our spring break trip to Southern California. The cottage sits along a pretty little creek, which provided great ambiance for sleeping. The weather was a a bit rough for us and the surrounding community, but the location was still wonderful. Quick access to the beach and quick drives to downtown Santa Barbara and Montecito allowed for amazing restaurant and shopping options. The setup worked well for my wife and I as well as our two teenage kids. We would definitely stay here again, if the opportunity were to arise, and hopefully the weather would cooperate to take advantage of the backyard deck and close beach access. Thank you for allowing us to stay, we had a great time!

We were lucky enough to book this cottage for a month! We had such an amazing time. Restaurants were just starting to open up again ( post covid) and the neighborhood and Neigbors are just delightful. Such a special community. Highlights are: the one block walk to the ocean. The secret flower filled walk to the surf beach ( walk to water, take a right after parking lot down dirt path) and of course beautiful Miramar, with their amazing sand service, food truck, and to- go margarittas. The home is fully equipped and we had many beautiful lunches and dinners on the back patio overlooking the river.

My wife and I extended our annual stay at Seashell Cottage from two months to three this winter/spring....enticed by the lure of a nest that might perfectly provide a safe and welcoming environment for a while longer before returning to the demands of addressing the current COVID19 pandemic response on the East Coast and our home. As ever, the cottage was small but welcoming oasis - where we felt good - near the beach, with the sound of the creek rushing behind the house, easy access to the community and just a perfect quiet neighborhood for us to just slow down and assess future plans for family, friends and adventure.

The cottage is best rented as both parts as the other renters can easily be heard. That’s the only problem with this cottage. Other than that its well looked after, very clean and convenient for the beach and the Rosewood Miramar. It is very efficiently run.
